Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in accounting or finance.
• Basic understanding of accounting principles.
• Knowledge of GST and TDS is an added advantage (training can be provided).
• Basic working knowledge of accounting software such as Tally or similar.
• Proficiency in MS Excel.
• Willingness to learn and take responsibility.

Responsibilities

• Assist in day-to-day accounting activities including data entry, voucher posting, and maintenance of records.
• Support accounts payable and receivable processes such as invoice verification and documentation.
• Help with bank reconciliation, cash book maintenance, and basic bookkeeping.
• Assist in GST-related work including invoice checking, data preparation, and filing support.
• Coordinate with vendors and internal teams for billing and payments.
• Support month-end closing activities and preparation of basic MIS reports.
• Maintain inventory and stock records for automation materials in accounting/inventory software.
• Assist in stock reconciliation, physical verification, and reporting of discrepancies.

Smart Homes is a growing home automation company providing smart living solutions for residential and commercial projects. We are looking for a Junior Accountant who is eager to learn, detail-oriented, and ready to grow in the field of accounting and finance.

This role is suitable for candidates with 1+ years of experience who want hands-on exposure in real-time business accounting, compliance, and inventory management.

Key Responsibilities :

• Assist in day-to-day accounting activities including data entry, voucher posting, and maintenance of sales, purchase, receipt, and payment records.


• Support accounts payable and receivable processes such as invoice verification, follow-ups, and documentation.


• Help with bank reconciliation, cash book maintenance, and basic bookkeeping.


• Assist in GST-related work including invoice checking, data preparation, and filing support.


• Coordinate with vendors and internal teams for billing, payments, and related documents.


• Support month-end closing activities and preparation of basic MIS reports.


• Maintain inventory and stock records for automation materials, including inward and outward entries in accounting/inventory software.


• Assist in stock reconciliation, physical verification, and reporting of discrepancies, shortages, or excess stock.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

• B.Com / M.Com or equivalent qualification.


• Basic understanding of accounting principles.


• Knowledge of GST and TDS is an added advantage (training can be provided).


• Basic working knowledge of accounting software such as Tally or similar.


• Proficiency in MS Excel.


• Willingness to learn and take responsibility.


• Good attention to detail and organizational skills.

Preferred Attributes :

• Exposure to the construction, interior, electrical, or automation industry is a plus but not mandatory.


• Positive attitude and readiness to learn new processes.
