Job Summary Key Responsibilities

Accounting & Finance

• Maintain books of accounts in Tally Prime.
• Pass purchase, sales, payment, receipt, contra, and journal entries.
• Perform bank reconciliation and ledger scrutiny.
• Maintain project-wise cost centres and expense allocation.
• Prepare MIS reports and financial summaries for management.

GST & Taxation

• Prepare monthly GST workings.
• Reconcile GSTR-2B with purchase records. Handle working GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, annual return, and GST audit workings.
• Prepare monthly TDS workings and reconciliation. Handle Income Tax Return (ITR) workings for both companies and individuals
• Ensure compliance with all applicable tax regulations.

Billing & Invoicing

• Prepare tax invoices and proforma invoices.
• Generate and manage E-Invoices
• Generate E-Way Bills
• Prepare and maintain RA (Running Account) Bills in Excel.
• Maintain project-wise billing records and billing trackers.
• Coordinate with project teams for timely billing.

Accounts Receivable

• Track outstanding payments from clients.
• Follow up with customers regarding overdue receivables.
• Maintain ageing reports and collection status.
• Coordinate with management for payment recovery.

Accounts Payable

• Process and verify vendor invoices.
• Schedule and execute vendor payments.
• Maintain vendor ledgers and payment records.
• Reconcile vendor accounts periodically.

Cost Centre & Project Accounting

• Maintain project-wise cost centres.
• Track project expenses and profitability.
• Assist in preparing project-wise Profit & Loss statements.
• Monitor budget versus actual project costs.

Documentation & Communication

• Draft professional emails for clients, vendors, banks, and statutory authorities.
• Maintain proper accounting documentation and records.
• Coordinate with auditors, consultants, and internal departments.

Required Skills

• Strong knowledge of Tally Prime.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, XLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Lookup Functions, MIS, RA Bill preparation).
• Excellent understanding of GST, TDS, Income Tax, and accounting principles.
• Experience with E-Invoicing and E-Way Bill generation.
• Knowledge of project accounting and cost centre accounting.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Professional email writing skills.
