Job summary

Manhar Tube Corporation in Mumbai is seeking an experienced accounting professional to handle daily bank reconciliations, ledgers, GST/TDS support, and month-end closings in a fast-paced trading environment.

You will ensure accuracy of supplier and customer payments, maintain documentation, monitor due dates, and follow company approval processes with honesty and reliability.

Qualifications

• Strong computer skills and fast processing ability.
• GST knowledge is required.
• Experience in trading/manufacturing preferred.
• Good Excel skills.

Responsibilities

• Daily bank reconciliation for all company bank accounts
• Recording and reconciliation of customer receipts
• Recording and reconciliation of supplier payments
• Preparation of supplier payment schedules
• Processing approved supplier payments
• Sending supplier payment advice
• Supplier ledger reconciliation
• Customer ledger reconciliation
• Monitoring supplier payment due dates
• Preparing customer outstanding reports
• Verification of supplier invoices against PO/rates
• Maintaining proper accounting documentation
• TDS/GST accounting support
• Monthly accounts closing support
• Payment follow up every 2-3 days
• Should be comfortable working in a fast-paced trading business
• Honest, responsible and trustworthy, particularly when handling financial transactions
• Willingness to learn and follow the company's accounting and approval processes
