Job summary

Recex Pvt Ltd. in Mumbai is seeking a detail-oriented accounting professional to help maintain daily financial records and ensure accurate reconciliation across banking, vendor, and customer accounts.

You will handle GST/TDS, invoicing, and reporting while coordinating with internal teams and external auditors to support monthly and annual closings. The role requires 1–2 years of accounting experience and proficiency in Tally and MS Excel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's in Commerce or equivalent.
• 1–2 years of accounting or finance experience.
• Basic knowledge of GST, TDS, and accounting principles.
• Working knowledge of Tally ERP/Tally Prime and MS Excel.
• Knowledge of accounting software is an added advantage.

. Key Responsibilities

Accounting & Bookkeeping

• Maintain daily accounting entries and financial records.
• Handle purchase and sales entries, invoices, vouchers, and expense records.
• Maintain accounts payable and receivable.
• Perform bank, vendor, and customer reconciliations.

Billing & Documentation

• Prepare and verify invoices, payment records, and supporting documents.
• Maintain proper filing of financial records and accounting documents.
• Assist in tracking payments, outstanding balances, and expenses.

Taxation & Compliance

• Assist with GST/TDS calculations, documentation, and return preparation.
• Coordinate with auditors, consultants, and internal teams for accounting and compliance requirements.
• Support monthly and annual financial closing activities.

Reporting & Coordination

• Prepare basic financial reports and expense statements.
• Coordinate with banks, vendors, customers, and other departments.
• Ensure accuracy and timely completion of accounting tasks.

Qualifications & Experience

• B.Com / M.Com or a relevant accounting qualification.
• 1–2 years of experience in accounting or finance.
• Basic knowledge of GST, TDS, and accounting principles.
• Working knowledge of Tally ERP/Tally Prime and MS Excel.
• Knowledge of accounting software will be an added advantage.
