Job summary

Lodha & Co in Mumbai is seeking an Associate Accountant (Accounts & Finance) to manage sales and purchase accounting, GST and TDS returns, and RBI filings. You will record investments using Tally ERP and support audits.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Manage accounting for sales and purchase transactions.

• Prepare quarterly stock P&L statements for audit and management review.

• Conduct inventory verification of Stores & Spares at client locations and prepare reports.
• Maintain accurate financial records and support statutory, tax, and internal audits.
• Coordinate with clients and internal teams to ensure timely completion of accounting and compliance activities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage accounting for sales and purchase transactions, ensuring accurate recording and timely processing.
• Prepare and file GST and TDS returns while ensuring compliance with applicable tax regulations.
• Prepare quarterly TDS workings and assist in filing RBI returns for clients.
• Record and manage investment accounting entries using Tally ERP.
• Calculate and prepare quarterly stock Profit & Loss statements for audit and management review.
• Perform internal audits for PSU clients, including verification of fixed assets, expense validation, and statutory compliance.
• Reconcile TDS receivables with Form 26AS and resolve discrepancies.
• Conduct inventory verification of Stores & Spares at multiple client locations and prepare verification reports.
• Maintain accurate financial records and support statutory, tax, and internal audits.
• Coordinate with clients and internal teams to ensure timely completion of accounting and compliance activities.
