Job summary

TRC Corporate Consulting is seeking a stock/warehouse assistant to receive, inspect, and verify stock against invoices and delivery challans. You will maintain accurate records of stock receipts, issues, transfers, returns and damages, and ensure systematic storage for quick retrieval.

Qualifications

• Experience with stock receipts, inspections, and verification against invoices or delivery challans.
• Ability to maintain accurate records of stock movements including receipts, issues, transfers, returns and damages.
• Strong organizational skills to arrange and store products for easy retrieval.
• Vigilance in monitoring stock levels and coordinating replenishment with Purchase/Sales teams.

Role & responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and verify incoming stock against invoices, purchase orders, and delivery challans.
• Maintain accurate records of stock receipts, issues, transfers, returns, and damages.
• Arrange and store products systematically to ensure easy identification and retrieval.
• Monitor stock levels and coordinate with the purchase/sales team for replenishment.
• Conduct regular physical stock counts and inventory reconciliation.
• Check products for quantity, quality, expiry, damage, and packaging condition at the time of receipt.
• Prepare stock issue notes and ensure goods are issued only against authorized requests.
• Coordinate with the retail/store operations team for daily stock requirements.
• Track slow-moving, fast-moving, damaged, and obsolete inventory and report the same.
• Maintain proper documentation for all stock movements.
• Ensure the store/warehouse is clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards.
• Support month-end stock closing and inventory reporting.
• Coordinate with auditors and management during stock audits and physical verification.
• Ensure proper labeling, binning, and categorization of products.
