Responsibilities

• Oversee effective implementation of the academic curriculum across centres.
• Monitor classroom practices, lesson planning, teaching methods and child engagement.
• Conduct regular academic audits and centre visits to ensure standards.
• Identify gaps and implement corrective action plans.

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Academic Operations Manager to manage and drive academic excellence and operational effectiveness across a cluster of Preschool centres. The role will be responsible for ensuring consistent implementation of the academic curriculum, maintaining quality standards, developing teachers, supporting Centre Heads, and delivering an excellent learning experience for children and parents.

Key Responsibilities

Academic Operations

• Ensure effective implementation of the academic curriculum across assigned centres.
• Monitor classroom practices, lesson planning, teaching methodologies and child engagement.
• Conduct regular academic audits and centre visits.
• Ensure adherence to prescribed academic processes, standards and guidelines.
• Identify gaps in academic delivery and implement corrective action plans.

Teacher Development

• Conduct regular training, coaching and mentoring sessions for teachers and Centre Heads.
• Identify training requirements based on classroom observations and performance.
• Support teachers in implementing age-appropriate teaching and learning methodologies.
• Monitor teacher performance and provide constructive feedback.

Centre Operations

• Work closely with Centre Heads to ensure smooth day-to-day academic and operational functioning.
• Monitor centre readiness, classroom standards, safety practices and SOP adherence.
• Track centre-level academic KPIs and operational performance.
• Support new centre launches and ensure academic readiness before commencement.

Quality & Compliance

• Conduct periodic centre audits covering academics, infrastructure, safety and process compliance.
• Ensure compliance with internal academic standards and preschool operating procedures.
• Maintain documentation and reports related to academic performance and centre audits.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives across assigned centres.

Parent & Child Experience

• Ensure high standards of child engagement, learning outcomes and overall preschool experience.
• Support Centre Heads in addressing academic concerns raised by parents.
• Participate in parent engagement initiatives, workshops and academic events.
• Promote a positive and child-centric learning environment.

Performance Management

• Track academic performance across centres and prepare periodic reports.
• Analyse centre-level gaps and recommend improvement plans.
• Work with senior leadership to achieve academic and operational targets.
• Monitor implementation and effectiveness of improvement initiatives.

Education

• Graduation in any discipline Mandatory
• ECCEd / ECCE / Early Childhood Education certification Preferred/Mandatory
• B.Ed / M.Ed / Montessori / NTT certification would be an added advantage.
