Job summary

NEXUS CONSULTING SOLUTIONS is seeking a dedicated Student Counsellor to be the primary contact for students, handling academic and administrative queries in Bengaluru. You will coordinate with university departments and manage communications via calls, emails, and chats while tracking progress and ensuring program completion.

The role requires a Post‑Graduation in relevant streams and experience in counselling/academic processes, with strong CRM/system knowledge and the ability to multitask,

Qualifications

• Post-Graduation in Management, Commerce, Journalism, CA, IT or related streams.
• Experience in student counselling / academic process.
• Knowledge of CRM / ticketing systems.
• Ability to multitask and work under pressure.
• Willingness to work on weekends on a rotational basis.

Responsibilities

• Act as the first point of contact for students and address academic & administrative queries.
• Coordinate between students and university departments.
• Track students' academic progress, submissions, and course requirements.
• Handle Inbound & Outbound calls, emails, and chats.
• Support students with semester and subject-related queries.
• Ensure timely completion of academic requirements.
• Drive student satisfaction, re-registration, and program completion.
• Identify and escape priority issues while ensuring timely resolution.
• Maintain MIS, reports, and student records using Excel & PPT.
• Work closely with internal teams, faculty, and SMEs.
