Job summary

EliteRecruitments seeks a Senior Ab Initio Engineer in Bengaluru to design, develop, deploy and support enterprise data solutions. You will lead complex data flows, ensure data quality, and collaborate across teams.

With 8+ years of hands-on Ab Initio experience, you will work in a Big 4/BFSI context, leveraging Linux/Unix, Oracle SQL, and ETL tools while mentoring peers and contributing to production stability.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of hands-on Ab Initio development experience.
• Strong experience with Ab Initio batch and continuous flows.
• Excellent knowledge of Linux/Unix and Shell scripting.
• Strong experience with Oracle/RDBMS and SQL.
• Experience with data aggregation, standardisation and data quality checks.
• Experience with ETL/data integration technologies.
• Hands-on experience with Git/GitHub and CI/CD.
• Strong understanding of the SDLC.

Responsibilities

• Lead L3 production support and resolve complex issues.

We are hiring an experienced Senior Ab Initio Engineer for a leading Big 4 organisation in Bangalore.

• 8+ years of strong, hands‑on Ab Initio development experience.
• Strong experience in Ab Initio batch and continuous flows.
• Excellent knowledge of Linux/Unix and Shell Scripting.
• Strong experience with Oracle/RDBMS and SQL.
• Experience with data aggregation, standardisation, linking, data quality checks, and reporting.
• Experience with ETL/Data Integration technologies.
• Hands‑on experience with Git/GitHub and CI/CD.
• Strong understanding of the complete SDLC.
• Experience in development, deployment, testing, production support, and troubleshooting.
• Ability to lead L3 production support and resolve complex technical issues.
• Experience mentoring team members and providing technical guidance.
• Banking/Financial Services domain experience is highly desirable.
