Job summary

Luxoft is seeking a Senior Ab Initio Developer to join the Fraud Detection Technology Team in Bengaluru. You will design, develop, test, and optimize Ab Initio-based solutions for financial services domain, including deployment prep and production support.

You should have 4–5 years hands-on Ab Initio experience, with strong SQL, scripting basics, and familiarity with Agile delivery. Excellent communication and problem-solving are essential to collaborate across business and IT teams.

The Project is with one of our clients who is a leading financial services organisation globally. You will be working as a part of Fraud Detection Technology Team to achieve their strategic objectives through planning, prioritising, delivering, and supporting projects and initiatives. Your team's success will be realised through partnering with business and IT teams across both Lending & Integrated Channels business domain and Technology to deliver beautiful experiences and exceptional capabilities to our branch applications.

Responsibilities:

Seeking a strong Ab Initio experience in the following key areas:

• This is a Senior Developer role for Ab Initio Platform.
• Development, testing, analysis, and design applications using Ab Initio software products.
• Preparation of deployment and configuration scripts within the delivery channel, including Production.
• Should be hands-on with setting up new environments and instances.
• Troubleshooting and second-line support of the Production application.
• Performance tuning and code optimization.

Mandatory Skills Description:

• Hands-on experience of at least 4 to 5 years building graphs/plans in Ab Initio, could be Continuous Flows or Batch, or both. Recent/current experience preferred.
• Experience in improving Ab Initio graph performance.
• Experience in source control and code promotion techniques in Ab Initio.
• Hands-on experience using SQL (any RDBMS) and at least a basic understanding of shell scripting.
• Understanding of database concepts - at least at a basic level.
• Fundamental knowledge of computing and network-related concepts.
• Excellent analytical/aptitude skills - be able to quickly understand and comprehend problem statements and suggest appropriate technical solutions.
• Exposure to working in an Agile team structure.
• Excellent communication skills - Note that this doesn't mean "excellent language skills"; we're looking for someone who can put across their thoughts clearly and respectfully.

Nice-to-Have Skills Description:

• Real-time applications and API driven development.
