Job summary

Intellics Global Services Mumbai is seeking an experienced ETL developer to design, develop, test and support Ab Initio ETL workflows for large scale data processing. You will implement data extraction, transformation and loading logic from multiple source systems into target data stores and data marts.

You will work with Ab Initio GDE graphs, EME for metadata management, and Unix shell scripting, optimizing performance while ensuring data quality and governance.

Design develop test and support ETL workflows using Ab Initio GDE graphs and transforms for large scale data processing

Implement data extraction transformation and loading logic from multiple source systems into target data stores DW marts

Work with Ab Initio EME Enterprise MetaEnvironment for metadata management version control and deployment

Develop reusable components such as transforms XFRs DMLs parameter files and reference data structures

Perform data validation reconciliation error handling and performance tuning of ETL jobs

Collaborate with business analysts and data modelers to understand requirements and convert them into scalable ETL designs

Support production ETL jobs troubleshoot issues and ensure adherence to SLAs

Follow coding standards naming conventions and data governance guidelines

Prepare and maintain technical documentation ETL design documents mappings and operational runbooks 26 years of hands on experience in Ab Initio ETL development

Strong expertise in Ab Initio GDE graph development transforms and Unix shell scripting

Working knowledge of Ab Initio EME for metadata versioning and collaboration

Good understanding of ETL concepts data warehousing and data integration patterns

Proficiency in SQL for data analysis and validation

Experience handling large data volumes and performance sensitive ETL jobs

Familiarity with UnixLinux environments

Strong analytical debugging and problem solving skills Experience in banking financial services or enterprise DW programs

Exposure to scheduling tools Control M or equivalent

Knowledge of data quality frameworks and metadata management practices

Experience working in Agile or DevOps delivery models Strong problemsolving and debugging ability

Good communication and stakeholder collaboration

Ownership mindset and ability to work in Agile teams

Good documentation and process adherence
