Job summary

Tata Consultancy Services is seeking an experienced SAP ABAP consultant in Bengaluru, India. You will handle requirement translation, RICEF development, and system enhancements within a global delivery model.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT or a related field.
• 7+ years of experience in SAP ABAP development.
• Hands-on experience with BDC and LSMW for data migration.
• Experience with S/4HANA readiness: CDS views, AMDP, OData, RAP.
• Excellent analytical and communication skills; ability to work in global, multi-time-zone teams.

Core Responsibilities

• Requirement Translation: Analyze functional specifications, map business requirements to SAP solutions, and design technical specifications.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's degree (B.E./B.Tech/MCA) in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
• Core Languages: Advanced ABAP, Object-Oriented ABAP (OO ABAP), and modern ABAP syntax.
• Data Migration: Hands-on experience with BDC (Batch Data Communication) and LSMW.
• S/4HANA Readiness: TCS modernization standards strongly prefer experience in modern technologies like Core Data Services (CDS) views, ABAP Managed Database Procedures (AMDP), OData services, and RAP (RESTful ABAP Programming).
• Soft Skills: Excellent analytical skills, strong verbal/written communication, and a willingness to work collaboratively in global, multi-time-zone delivery teams.
