About the Role : As an A&R Manager, you will be responsible for scouting and developing emerging talent, managing relationships with artists and partner labels, and identifying commercially viable content opportunities. You will work closely with artists, labels, and industry stakeholders to curate strong content pipelines, align releases with market trends, and drive growth through effective content distribution. The role requires a strong understanding of music, emerging trends, and industry networks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Artist & Label Relationship Management
- Work closely with existing artist and label distribution clients to understand their sound, creative identity, catalogue, and upcoming content.
- Build strong relationships with artists and labels and act as a key A&R point of contact.
- Stay closely involved with their content pipeline and identify opportunities for growth and development.
- A&R & Content Development
- Understand the musical direction of artists and labels and provide relevant A&R inputs across their content.
- Guide clients on track selection, collaborations, producers, songwriters, and overall sound.
- Identify new music and content opportunities that align with the artist or label’s identity and market trends.
- Content & Project Oversight
- Work closely with artists and labels on their overall content pipeline, from content evaluation to release planning.
- Collaborate with internal distribution, marketing, digital, and PR teams to strengthen and maximize the overall content potential of artist and label clients.
- Monitor content performance, audience insights, and market trends to provide actionable A&R recommendations.
- Industry Networking
- Maintain strong relationships with artists, labels, managers, producers, songwriters, and other industry professionals.
- Stay connected with the wider music ecosystem to identify relevant opportunities for existing clients.
- Represent the company at live events, showcases, festivals, and industry conferences.
- Strategic Contribution
- Contribute to the company’s overall A&R strategy by identifying strong content and growth opportunities across its artist and label client base.
- Identify relevant collaborations, commercial opportunities, and new content avenues for distribution clients.
- Support client retention and long-term growth by consistently adding value beyond distribution.
- Strong ear for talent, music trends, and commercial viability.
- Excellent relationship-building and networking skills.
- Knowledge of music production, recording, and publishing processes.

Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Music, Business, Media, or related field (preferred).
- 3–5 years of experience in A&R, artist management, or music industry roles.
- Established network of artists, producers, and industry contacts.
- Proven track record of successful talent discovery and development.
