As a 5G Protocol Tester supporting Alethea in Bangalore, India, you will take full operational, tactical, and technical ownership of device-side protocol test execution, testbed maintenance, report consolidation, and quality validation across mission-critical wireless engineering platforms. Your day-to-day responsibilities include ramping up quickly on 5G device-side test scripts, executing automated test suites across 4G LTE and 5G Non-Standalone (NSA) and Standalone (SA) architectures, analyzing 3GPP protocol layers including Radio Resource Control (RRC), Medium Access Control (MAC), Radio Link Control (RLC), and Packet Data Convergence Protocol (PDCP), maintaining robust test environments and consolidating test reports for engineering stakeholders, writing basic Python scripts for automated report generation and data processing, working independently with minimal supervision while taking full ownership of assigned testing tasks, collaborating closely with cross-functional software development, firmware, and systems integration squads in Agile sprint cycles, preparing comprehensive technical documentation of test execution logs, defect reports, and operational runbooks, and managing application requirements by sending your updated resume via direct email to Rubina M. at [e-mail].
