Your resume and cover letter, tailored to exactly what they’re hiring for.
HSC is seeking an experienced 5G/4G Layer-1 DSP developer for on-site roles in Gurugram or Bengaluru. You will design, implement, and optimize L1 software and UE stack components for LTE/NR, with emphasis on DSP, OFDM, and MIMO performance.
You will collaborate across embedded, RF, and hardware teams, use QXDM/QCAT/Wireshark for debugging, and follow 3GPP specifications to ensure robust signal processing and low latency in live networks.
We are actively seeking an experienced, high-caliber, and technical 5G/4G Layer-1 Protocol Stack Developer (DSP) with a strong professional background in UE stack development, LTE/NR physical layer algorithms, and digital signal processing optimization to join our engineering team on a full-time permanent on-site basis in Gurugram, Haryana or Bengaluru, Karnataka. In this critical wireless communications engineering role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and debugging advanced physical layer (L1) protocol software for 5G New Radio and 4G LTE cellular systems. You will leverage your deep specialist expertise in C, C++, DSP architectures, OFDM, MIMO, and wireless debugging tools to deliver uncompromised signal processing performance, low latency, and operational excellence. This opportunity offers competitive compensation, executive technical visibility, and exceptional career growth prospects within a premier global telecommunications and embedded systems technology enterprise.
As a 5G/4G Layer-1 Protocol Stack Developer (DSP) supporting our wireless engineering operations in Gurugram and Bengaluru, you will take full operational, tactical, and technical ownership of Physical Layer (L1) software development, UE protocol stack integration, and DSP optimization. Your day-to-day responsibilities include designing, developing, and debugging LTE/NR Physical Layer algorithms and DSP routines for mobile communication chipsets, implementing 5G UE stack features adhering strictly to 3GPP technical specifications, optimizing signal processing pipelines for OFDM and MIMO transmission schemes, conducting rigorous hardware/software integration, diagnostic log analysis, and system debugging using QXDM and Wireshark, managing code repositories, version control, and branch workflows via Git and tracking engineering tasks through JIRA, collaborating closely with cross-functional systems engineering, hardware, and RF teams, conducting root-cause analysis for complex over-the-air communication anomalies, and ensuring strict compliance with wireless industry standards and performance benchmarks. You will utilize your proactive troubleshooting and analytical problem-solving skills to resolve complex L1 protocol anomalies under strict project delivery timelines.
When applying for this 5G/4G Layer-1 Protocol Stack Developer position, ensure your resume explicitly highlights your C/C++ embedded programming portfolio, details your 3GPP LTE/NR physical layer and QXDM debugging experience, and confirms your location preference.
