Job summary

Matrix Hr Technologies is seeking an experienced 5th Axis CAM Programmer based in Hyderabad to develop CNC programs using advanced CAM software. You will work on 5-Axis Milling and Turning operations, ensuring optimal machining efficiency and surface finish.

The ideal candidate should possess a BE or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering along with 5 to 8 years of hands-on experience in CAM programming. This role is crucial for the engineering department, and your expertise will directly impact production quality.

Qualifications

• 5 to 8 years of hands-on experience in CAM programming – Hyper mill 5 axis profile finishing.
• Strong knowledge of machining processes including Mazak Turn milling and Milling 5 Axis.

Responsibilities

• Develop CNC programs using CAM software for Turning and 5-Axis Milling.
• Interpret 2D/3D models and engineering drawings to create machining strategies.
• Select tools and parameters to ensure optimal machining efficiency.
• Support production team during initial part prove-out.

Education: BE / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent (NTTF, GTTC)

Key Responsibilities

• Develop CNC programs using CAM software (Hyper mill 5 axis & Power mill) for Turning, 5-Axis Milling, and 5 Turn-Mill machines (Mazak).
• Interpret 2D/3D models, engineering drawings, and GD&T to create accurate machining strategies.
• Select tools, cutting parameters, and machining sequences to ensure optimal efficiency, surface finish, and dimensional accuracy.
• Support production team during initial part prove-out and troubleshoot any machining‑related issues.
