Capgemini Engineering in Bengaluru invites experienced Parts & 3D Technical Publications Specialist to develop IPCs, parts manuals and interactive 3D publications for automotive maintenance and service.

The role involves transforming CAD data into customer-facing technical content, creating exploded views and assembly sequences, and collaborating with engineering teams to ensure data accuracy and usable documentation for customers and field technicians.

Qualifications

• Experience developing IPCs, spare parts manuals and interactive 3D publications.
• Experience transforming CAD data into customer-facing publications.
• Proven experience with IPCs and spare parts documentation.
• Hands-on with Arbortext, FrameMaker, Creo Illustrate, IsoDraw.
• 3D visualization and exploded views knowledge.

Responsibilities

Your Role

In this role, you will

• Looking for well experienced Parts & 3D Technical Publications Specialist to develop and maintain Illustrated Parts Catalogs (IPC), Parts Manuals, Spare Parts Documentation, and Interactive 3D Technical Publications for automotive industry.
• Create detailed parts identification and parts provisioning information.
• Ensure parts data accuracy, interchangeability information, and configuration applicability.
• Manage documentation updates resulting from engineering changes and field feedback.

Your Profile

• Develop and publish interactive 3D technical content for maintenance, parts identification, and service applications.
• Generate exploded views, assembly/disassembly sequences, and interactive product visualizations.
• Support creation of digital work instructions and visualization-based technical content.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to transform CAD data into customer-facing technical publications.
• Proven experience developing: Illustrated Parts Catalogs (IPC), Spare Parts Manuals, Component Catalogs, Interactive 3D Publications
• Hands-on experience with one or more of Technical Publication tools:Arbortext Editor, Adobe FrameMaker, Creo Illustrate, IsoDraw
• 3D Visualization Tools :Creo Illustrate,CATIA Composer or SolidWorks Composer,Cortona3D
