Job summary

Zohorecruit in Tamil Nadu, India, seeks a Quality Specialist focused on valve industry to drive documentation and ensure adherence to standards such as ASME, EN, API and IS. You will review customer order requirements, ITP/JQR and other quality documents, and collaborate with Project Engineering to align on project quality deliverables.

The role requires strong writing and communication skills, knowledge of PED, CRN, S-stamp and related certifications, and a proactive approach to digitalising

• Strong knowledge of valve standards (ASME/ASTM/API/EN/IS/BS).
• Good writing and communication skills.
• Experience with quality documentation and processes.

Responsibilities

• Go through complete customer order requirements, PR and other specifications.
• Understand ITP, JQR, NDE and other quality procedures.
• Submit manufacturing quality documents to customer as per timeline.
• Work with Project Engineering on quality documentation.
• Capture lessons learned and apply to future projects.
• Support Inside sales for pre/post-inspection queries and documentation.

Job description

To ensure the quality requirements of company products and process, meets the customer requirements

and ensure quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Go through complete customer order requirements, PR and other specifications
• Understand the Quality Documents like ITP, JQR (Job Quality Requirements), NDE & Other Procedures, Material
• Standard specification inline to Project requirements.
• Work closely with Project Engineering on complaining the quality documentation.
• Submit Manufacturing Quality documents to customer as per the agreed timeline.
• Lessons Learnt to be captured and it should be followed in every project.
• Support Inside sales for pre /post - inspection/documentation queries and documents w.r.t quality
• Work closely with cross functional team & supplier and ensure the project quality requirements thru meetings.
• Knowledge of various testing and material standards with respect to valve industry (ASME/EN)
• Knowledge of various certification requirements.
• Knowledge of digitalisation in documentation and strong appetite for the same.
• Ensure all documents are maintained as per QMS & company policy.

Requirements

Critical Competencies for Success

• Strong Knowledge in Valve Standards and Material & Testing Standards - ASME, ASTM, API, EN, IS & BS Standards
• Knowledge on PED, CRN, S -stamp, API & other certifications w.r.t valve Industry
• Preferred to have knowledge in Nuclear Valves
• Must possess good writing and communication skills.
