Role Overview

The Manager - Cloud Infrastructure is responsible for leading the design, delivery, governance, and operational management of cloud infrastructure services with a primary focus on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) and secondary expertise in Amazon Web Services (AWS). This role provides strategic and operational leadership for AMS (Application Management Services) clients, ensuring secure, scalable, resilient, and cost-effective cloud environments.

The Manager will lead cloud teams, drive service excellence, oversee vendor and stakeholder relationships, manage cloud budgets, and ensure adherence to security, compliance, and operational standards. The role requires strong technical expertise, leadership capabilities, and the ability to align cloud initiatives with business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Cloud Strategy & Leadership
• Define and execute cloud infrastructure strategies aligned with business and customer objectives
• Lead the design, implementation, and operational management of OCI environments while overseeing AWS support requirements
• Establish cloud governance frameworks, standards, and best practices across managed services engagements
• Drive cloud transformation initiatives, modernization programs, and operational excellence efforts

• Own end-to-end cloud infrastructure operations for AMS clients
• Ensure delivery of services within agreed SLAs, KPIs, and operational targets
• Oversee infrastructure availability, performance, capacity management, monitoring, backup, disaster recovery, and patch management processes
• Drive major incident management, problem management, and root-cause remediation activities
• Ensure operational readiness for new projects, deployments, and service transitions

• Review and approve secure, scalable, and resilient cloud architecture designs
• Ensure implementation of cloud security controls including IAM, network segmentation, encryption, vulnerability management, and compliance requirements

• Partner with security and risk teams to maintain security posture and reduce operational risks
• Champion security-by-design principles across cloud platforms
