Job summary

Datamatics Technologies is seeking a Cloud Platform Engineer (OCI) with 3–6 years of hands-on experience to build, manage, and automate enterprise cloud infrastructure focused on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI).

You will work on provisioning, automation, security, monitoring, and migration activities, with Terraform, Kubernetes, CI/CD, and cloud security, plus exposure to AWS/Azure/GCP.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/IT or related field.
• 3–6 years hands-on cloud/platform engineering experience.
• Minimum 2 years OCI experience or strong OCI exposure.
• Experience supporting production environments, incident management, and change management.

Responsibilities

• Provision and configure OCI resources including Compute, Storage, VCN, Load Balancer, DBCS, and Autonomous Database.
• Implement and manage OCI networking components such as VCNs, subnets, NSGs, route tables, gateways, VPNs, FastConnect, and DNS.
• Develop and maintain Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform / OCI Resource Manager) modules.
• Automate operational tasks using Python, Bash, Ansible, and cloud-native tools.
• Support CI/CD deployments using OCI DevOps, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps.
• Monitor cloud environments using OCI Monitoring, Logging, APM, Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Datadog, or Dynatrace.
• Perform routine operations including patching, backups, certificate renewals, capacity checks, and incident resolution.
• Implement cloud security controls including IAM policies, MFA, Vault/KMS, encryption, Bastion, Cloud Guard, Security Zones, and Vulnerability Scanning.
• Support cloud migration and modernization initiatives to OCI.
• Assist application teams deploying workloads on OKE, WebLogic, Oracle DB, Functions, and API Gateway.
• Contribute to cost optimization, automation, and operational documentation.
