Job summary

NAM Info is seeking an experienced Oracle Cloud professional in India to lead and manage OCI/OIC environments. You will oversee users, resources, security, IAM, and governance, and collaborate with security, network and product teams to improve performance and reliability.

The role requires strong English communication, leadership capabilities, and a customer-focused mindset to drive successful cloud initiatives across SaaS, PaaS, and IaaS workloads.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
• Extensive cloud implementation experience.
• Experience administering OCI and OIC.
• Experience in at least one full life cycle OCI/OIC implementations.

Job description

We are looking for a candidate with an in-depth understanding of Oracle Cloud infrastructure and Oracle Integrated cloud, experience in SaaS, PaaS, IaaS implementations, and a team player and leader that is reliable, enthusiastic, committed, creative, and customer focused. This role also requires strong collaboration skills to focus on a diverse palette of technical and operational work in a continuously evolving environment.

Responsibilities

• 1. Manage & maintain OCI users and resources, overseeing compute, storage, and networking components.
• 2. Monitor OCI performance, availability, and security, proactively identifying and addressing potential issues.
• 3. Implement & enforce governance policies & controls to ensure compliance with organizational standards.
• 4. Configure and Manage OCI Compartments and Provisioning services like IaaS, PaaS, SaaS and DBaaS across Availability and Fault Domains
• 5. Configure and manage OCI Identity and Access Management (IAM) to control access and permissions.
• 6. Implement security best practices, including data encryption, network security, & regular security audits.
• 7. Integrate OCI with other systems and tools to streamline workflows and enhance system functionality.
• 8. Develop KPIs and Metrics Reports and Dashboards
• 9. Work with internal staff, third-party vendors, and Oracle to update and communicate environment maintenance schedules, refresh schedules, and outages.
• 10. View and monitor service detail and service notifications related to patching/critical updates/downtime.
• 11. Configure and manage OCI/OIC logging and auditing mechanisms for comprehensive system tracking.
• 12. Participate in the development and implementation of new OCI features and enhancements to improve system performance and functionality.
• 13. Function as the primary point of contact and Collaborate with Oracle support to address and resolve OCI/OIC-related technical issues.
• 14. Partner with Security, Network, Development and Product Teams to identify issues, driving issue resolution.
• 15. Maintain accurate and up to date OCI documentation and architecture diagrams.

Minimum Qualifications / Skills

1. Minimum bachelors degree in computer science or equivalent
2. Extensive overall exp. Cloud Implementation Experience
3. Good years of experience administering OCI and OIC
4. Experience in at least one full life cycle implementations of OCI and OIC services
5. Strong understanding of cloud computing principles, OCI services, and architecture.
6. Proficiency in OCI administration tasks, including user management, resource provisioning, and networking configuration.
7. Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues.
8. Deep understanding of CI/CD, SDLC, IT Change Control processes, Deployment Methodologies and Application Server Life Cycle Management
9. Ability to lead other functional leads through the different project phases.
10. Exceptional and advanced English communication skills with all levels of an organization are required (written, verbal, digital, and formal presentations)
11. Desire to teach and mentor other engineers with varying domains of expertise.
12. Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Foundations Associate/Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Architect Associate or similar certifications related to Oracle Fusion Cloud is preferred.
13. Proficiency in Spanish is a plus.
14. Advance skills in MS Office (Access, Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
15. Worked with a broad range of diverse customers and stakeholders Ability to effectively manage multiple, competing, high-priority projects with varying deadlines.
