Job summary

A leading medical device manufacturer in Cork is looking for an Operational Excellence Specialist to manage OpEx activities and projects. This role involves mentoring staff, identifying improvement opportunities, and effectively managing project reports. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in operational excellence from pharma or medical device industries and a proven track record of Lean and continuous improvement practices. This is a permanent position with a focus on strategic KPIs.

Qualifications

  • Experience in operational excellence roles, ideally from pharma or medical device industries.
  • Experience mentoring and coaching colleagues in operational excellence.
  • Strong track record of Lean/Continuous Improvement practices.

Responsibilities

  • Effectively mentoring and coaching department staff to ensure efficient daily processes for projects.
  • Identify and implement opportunities for continuous improvement.
  • Effectively manage and report on projects to site leadership.
  • Use relevant technologies to assist continuous improvement projects.
