Job summary

Qualifications

• Experience in childcare or social care is preferred.
• Willingness to work with young people with complex needs.
• Good communication and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Supervise outings from the home and undertake daily household activities such as cooking and cleaning.
• Provide emotional support during difficult or stressful times and involve young people in care and placement planning.
• Promote a safe, welcoming, and therapeutic environment and collaborate with social workers, educators, guardians and families.
• Maintain accurate records and reports for each young person in line with policy and statutory requirements.
• Be physically able to support with challenging behaviours when needed.
