Job summary

City of Dublin YMCA is offering a developmental part-time role in Dublin 13 for the Community & Youth Projects Support Assistant. The position supports planning and delivery of community initiatives and requires good communication, teamwork and organisational skills.

Accredited training will be provided through the Community Employment Scheme. Working 19.5 hours per week across Monday to Saturday, afternoons/evenings and weekends, with flexible locations at Parkside Hubs and DeVerdon Place as

Qualifications

No prior experience required; accredited training provided.
Strong communication and teamwork skills are essential.
Organisational skills and a genuine interest in youth/community work.

Responsibilities

Support the planning and delivery of Community & Youth projects, events and programming.
Engage with local residents and young people to build relationships and encourage participation.
Assist in organising events, workshops and outreach activities.
Help set up and prepare spaces and materials for activities.
Additional light administrative duties; including stock taking, passing on resident feedback/queries, session planning where required.
Undertaking practical training.
Abide by YMCA Policies and Procedures, including Child Protection and Health & Safety.
Any other duties related to the delivery of YMCA Youth & Community Services.
