Job summary

FDYS Gorey Youth and Community project is seeking a Youth & Community Work Assistant to support activities and initiatives that promote personal and social development in young people and the wider community in Gorey.

Sessions run in the afternoons, evenings and at weekends; training is provided and Garda Vetting is required. This is a developmental opportunity with no prior experience necessary, and you will join a committed team delivering quality youth work under NQSF standards.

Responsibilities

• Support the Youth and Community team in the delivery of activities and initiatives that enhance the personal and social development of young people and the wider community.
• Sessions will occur during afternoons, evenings and weekends.
• Planning, reporting, training, team meetings and evaluation.
