The Community & Youth Projects Support Worker will assist in planning and delivering youth and community initiatives in Dublin 13, engaging residents, assisting in organising events, and supporting programme development. This role, part of the Community Employment Scheme (19.5 hrs/week), requires good communication, teamwork, and organisational skills to help embed YMCA Dublin’s services in new communities. YMCA Dublin are excited to provide an individual in gaining quality work experience and certified training in order to have a successful career in the Youth and Community Sector. The successful candidate will need to have a genuine interest in the Youth and Community Sector.
Further information: 19.5 hours per week. 4 days a week across Monday - Saturday. Working hours will be afternoons/evenings and weekends - no later than 9pm finish time. Successful candidates will report to our Community Projects Manager and will work within the Youth and Community Services team, as well as working with other YMCA colleagues to drive projects forward and to bring the best out in people in line with the YMCA’s ethos and mission.
