Job summary

C&D Foods & Affiliates in Edgeworthstown, Co. Longford, is hiring a Yard Operative on a full-time, on-site basis. The role operates on a continental 12-hour shift pattern from 6:00 to 18:00 and 18:00 to 06:00.

You will be responsible for wash and disposal tasks, loading for dispatch, unloading deliveries, waste handling, pallet sorting, and keeping the yard and WWTP areas clean. A forklift licence is essential and flexibility to cover annual leave or absences is required.

Responsibilities

• Regular Power Washing of Dolav's Empty CAT 3 Waste Dolavs to approved trailers.
• Load CAT 3 Dolavs for dispatch as required.
• Unloading CAT 3 deliveries to site as required.
• Collect Waste Dolavs from Collection Points.
• Sort and load damaged pallets for disposal as required.
• Cleaning duties at the WWTP.
• Be prepared to cross train on WWTP workings, observations and sample collections.
• General factory external cleaning duties.
• Emptying of Wheelie Bins.
• Carry out other duties as requested by the Environmental Officer.

At our C&D Foods site in Edgeworthstown, Co. Longford we have an opportunity for a Yard Operative. This position operates on a continental shift pattern, working 12-hour shifts on a rotating basis: 6:00am to 6:00pm (Days) 6:00pm to 6:00am (Nights)

Key Responsibilities:
