FRS Recruitment is recruiting on behalf of a well-established Agri & Construction Supplies business in the North-East Galway region for a Yard Operative / Senior Yard Operative to join their team.

This is a permanent position with full-time or part-time hours and Saturday work on a rota. It is an excellent fit for someone seeking a long-term career in the agri-trade sector.

Qualifications

• Experience in agricultural merchants, builders' providers, DIY retailers, hardware stores, construction supplies, or similar.
• Forklift experience and certification would be an advantage; training can be provided.
• Strong work ethic, hands-on approach, and ability to work independently or in a team.

Responsibilities

• Loading and unloading deliveries safely using a forklift.
• Assisting customers and providing excellent service in the yard.
• Picking and preparing customer orders accurately and efficiently.
• Managing goods inwards and goods outwards.
• Monitoring stock levels and assisting with inventory control.
• Maintaining a clean, organised, and safe yard environment.
• Carrying out occasional van deliveries as required.
• Adhering to all health & safety procedures.
• Manual handling of products and materials as part of daily duties.

• A willingness to learn and take ownership of day-to-day yard operations
