Perform Recruitment is recruiting on behalf of a well-established family-run business in Ratoath, Co. Meath, for a Yard & Site Operative. This full-time, permanent position offers an immediate start and a varied, hands-on role keeping the site, equipment and vehicles in top condition.

You’ll work with workshop/yard staff, perform essential day-to-day tasks, and become a valued member of a close-knit team. Previous experience is helpful but not essential; training will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Keep the yard, workshop, showroom surroundings and general site clean, safe and well organised.
• Wash and valet cars, vans and machinery to a high standard.
• Change and fit tyres on equipment and machinery.
• Help in the yard with loading/unloading deliveries, moving stock and organising equipment.
• Prepare machinery and equipment for customers, hire and collection.
• Assist the workshop and service team with basic tasks as required.
• Keep tools, work areas and storage spaces tidy and in good order.
• Follow health and safety procedures at all times.
• Carry out any other general duties to support the team and the business.

Perform Recruitment is recruiting on behalf of our client, a well-established, family-run business with over 40 years of experience in the industry.

Due to continued growth, they're looking for a reliable, hard-working Yard & Site Operative to join their team on a full-time, permanent basis. This is a varied, hands‑on role where no two days are the same, and you'll play a key part in keeping the site, equipment and vehicles in top condition.

About the Role

You’ll support the wider team with all the essential day-to-day tasks that keep a busy sales, service and hire business running smoothly. You’ll work closely with the workshop and yard staff, helping wherever you’re needed, and you’ll quickly become a valued member of a close-knit team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Keeping the yard, workshop, showroom surroundings and general site clean, safe and well organised
• Washing and valeting cars, vans and machinery to a high standard
• Changing and fitting tyres on equipment and machinery
• Helping in the yard with loading and unloading deliveries, moving stock and organising equipment
• Preparing machinery and equipment for customers, hire and collection
• Assisting the workshop and service team with basic tasks as required
• Keeping tools, work areas and storage spaces tidy and in good order

About You:
