Job summary

GREENSAFE INTERNATIONAL PTE. LTD. is hiring a Workplace Safety Health Coordinator for Tuas. Immediate start.

You will carry out duties under the WSH Act, implement the EHS system, and ensure compliance across site activities. Daily inspections, inductions, hazard identification, and incident reporting are key parts of the role. You will also prepare monthly WSH reports, support audits, and conduct training for staff and contractors, with a focus on safe work practices and regulatory adherence.

Qualifications

• WSQ advanced certificate in WSH with valid Refresher certificate.
• WAH assessor certificate.
• Risk management course.
• A team player with the ability to work independently.
• Minimum 2 years experience in construction.

Responsibilities

• Carry out duties as specified by WSH Act.
• Assist in the implementation of the EHS management system.
• Ensure site activities comply with applicable legal requirements.
• Conduct daily WSH inspections of machinery, equipment, plant and installation.
• Act as Site EHS Assessor for hazardous works verification.
• Conduct EHS induction courses for new employees and contractors.
• Brief workers and sub-contractors on Risk Assessments and Safe Work Procedures.
• Identify WSH hazards and implement control measures.
• Prepare monthly WSH reports and permit-to-work submissions.
• Ensure workers comply with EHS Management System and legal requirements.
• Maintain and monitor EHS records/checklists.
• Participate in Internal/External audits.
• Investigate and report WSH incidents and near misses.
• Carry out WSH and related training.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Project Manager and Management.

• Carry out duties as specified by WSH Act.

• Ensure all site activities are carried out in compliance with applicable legal requirements.
• Carry out daily WSH inspections including machinery, equipment, plant, and installation.
• Functions as the Site EHS Assessor in the verification of hazardous works.
• Conduct EHS induction courses for new employees and contractors.
• Ensure that Risk Assessment and Safe Work Procedures are brief to workers and sub-contractor.
• Identify WSH hazards and implement control measures.
• Preparation of monthly WSH reports Risk Assessments, Safe Work Procedures and Permit to works submission in accordance with Main Contractor requirements.
• Ensure workers and sub-contractors comply with EHS Management System & applicable legal requirements.
• Maintain and monitor EHS records/ checklists.
• Participate and facilitate Internal/External audits.
• Investigate and report WSH all incidents & near misses.
• Conduct WSH and other related training.
• Carry out any other duties as assigned by the Project Manager and Management.
