Job summary

GREENSAFE INTERNATIONAL PTE. LTD. seeks a Workplace Safety and Health Officer for an on-site role at TUAS SOUTH INCINERATION PLANT.

The successful candidate will support the Safety Manager on safety, health, environmental, and welfare matters and ensure compliance with statutory obligations and aerodrome safety standards. Responsibilities include conducting inspections, preparing reports, coordinating with authorities and contractors, and leading investigations into accidents or near misses.

Qualifications

• At least 6 years relevant experience in construction, preferably 2 years with developer/main contractor.
• Must be a registered Workplace Safety and Health Officer with MOM.
• Has developed a Risk Management Implementation Plan (bizSAFE Level 2) or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Assist Safety Manager on safety, health, environmental, and welfare matters to ensure compliance with statutory obligations and aerodrome safety standards.
• Ensure health, safety, and environmental control and adherence to procedures and instructions on works.
• Coordinate with stakeholders, authorities, agencies and other Consultants engaged by the Developer.
• Prepare daily situation reports and monitor site safety performance.
• Ensure risk assessments and safe working procedures are correctly executed on-site.
• Conduct daily health, safety, and environmental inspections and follow up for closure.
• Investigate all accidents and near-miss incidents and document findings.
• Wear personal protective equipment and observe all safety requirements.
• Implement and monitor safety measures in line with Workplace Health and Safety Act and Safety Management System.
• Highlight training/certification gaps to meet legislations or HSE guidance.
