Job summary
The Recruitment Company in Ireland is seeking a hands-on Windows Server administrator for an enterprise-scale IT environment. You will work closely with senior SMEs to build and maintain Windows Servers, Active Directory, and VMware, with Azure IaaS exposure. The role includes 2 days per week in the Dublin 2 office; salary €70k-€85k DOE.

Qualifications
- 5+ years experience administering Windows Server in enterprise environments.
- Strong Active Directory troubleshooting and identity management.
- Experience building/configuring Windows Servers in large orgs.
- Proficient in patching, updates, services, performance and issue resolution.
- Experience with VMware/virtualised Windows environments and Azure IaaS.
- PowerShell scripting to automate admin tasks and reduce manual work.
- Hands-on L3 support experience within a larger engineering team.
Responsibilities
- Handle incoming server support tickets and incidents to resolution.
- Build, configure and maintain Windows Servers across the enviroment.
- Troubleshoot Windows Server, updates, patching, services and performance.
- Support enterprise Windows environments across on‑prem and Azure.
- Work with Active Directory and identity-related issues.
- Use PowerShell to automate repetitive tasks and improve processes.
- Collaborate with senior SMEs and infrastructure teams on complex problems.
- Contribute to infrastructure improvements and technical projects.
- Stay updated with new technologies and best practices.
