Job summary

RES is recruiting for a Lead Major Component Technician to join our heavy lift and major component replacement projects in Ireland. You will work as part of a team delivering gearbox, generator, main shaft and yaw ring exchanges, ensuring safe, compliant execution in line with CDM and HSQE standards.

You should have experience in heavy lift, strong communication, and the ability to adapt to multi-site environments. A relevant GWO training or mechanical/electrical qualifications are preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience in delivery of heavy lift and major component exchanges.
• Familiar with CDM procedures and documents.
• Knowledge of Multi-platform MCR replacements is advantageous.
• Strong communication and organisational skills required.

The Position

Responsible for carrying out Major Component / Large Corrective projects as part of a team. Projects will mainly be Major Component replacements with some smaller additional works in between. Gearbox, Generator, Main shaft, Yaw Ring Exchanges etc
