Job summary

CGN Europe Energy is growing its wind operations team in Ireland and seeks two Wind Turbine Technicians to maintain and optimize wind assets. You will perform preventive and corrective maintenance on wind turbines, working across mechanical, electrical and hydraulic systems to ensure safe, efficient operation.

Experience with Enercon turbines is advantageous. The role requires strict adherence to health, safety and environmental standards, plus the ability to document work orders and support

Qualifications

• Experience in wind turbine operations or maintenance; Enercon or similar technology is preferred.
• Strong commitment to health, safety and environmental standards.
• Technical qualifications or equivalent experience in electrical, mechanical or renewable energy fields.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance and corrective repairs on wind turbines.
• Conduct troubleshooting on mechanical, hydraulic and electrical systems.
• Lead or support maintenance teams during major component exchanges, including generators and gearboxes.
• Complete work orders, checklists and documentation accurately.
• Ensure safe access, egress and compliance with all site safety rules and company policies.
• Participate in the on-call rotation for weekends and public holidays when required.

We’re growing our wind operations team and are looking for skilled professionals to join us in maintaining and optimizing our wind energy assets. We have two Wind Turbine Technician roles available. This is an opportunity to contribute to a high-performing team committed to safety, quality and sustainable energy.

Experience with Enercon turbines or similar technologies will be considered an advantage.

About The Roles

As a Wind Turbine Technician, you’ll be responsible for preventive and corrective maintenance on wind turbines, including mechanical, electrical and hydraulic systems. You’ll troubleshoot issues, carry out retrofits and component exchanges, and help ensure turbines operate safely and efficiently.
