Job summary

Reed Specialist Recruitment Limited is assisting a prestigious law firm in Dublin 2 to hire a Wills and Probate Solicitor. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of five years PQE in private client wills and probate, with a proven ability to manage a busy caseload and work both independently and as part of a team.

You will advise private clients, draft and administer wills, manage estates and trusts, and handle related duties including Powers of Attorney and tax returns.

Qualifications

• Minimum of five years’ post-qualification experience in private client wills and probate cases.
• Proven ability to manage a busy caseload with high organisational skills.
• Capability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a strong ability to manage client relations.
• Ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines effectively.

Responsibilities

• Advise private clients on all aspects of wills and probate matters.
• Handle the making of wills, including providing estate planning advice.
• Administer estates and set up and manage trusts.
• Register Enduring Powers of Attorney and apply for Decision-Making Representation Orders.
• File Capital Acquisition Tax returns and draft and advise on Family Partnerships.
• Manage caseloads from initial instruction to completion, including post-completion work.
• Collaborate with the Litigation team on contentious probate disputes.
• Participate in business development and networking activities as required.
