Job summary

West Cork Distillers is seeking a Blending Operative to join our team in Skibbereen. You will blend whiskeys, gins and other spirit-based beverages to recipe requirements, prepare base blends and handle filtration and bulk product preparation.

Our blending team ensures products meet the highest standards for export to over 70 countries. You will work on traceability, maintain audit-ready areas, and may receive forklift training as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience in blending and quality control.
• Ability to follow recipes and maintain traceability.
• Willingness to work as part of a team and to take on flexible duties.

Responsibilities

• Blend Whiskeys, gins and other spirit-based beverages to recipe requirements.
• Prepare base blends to recipe requirements.
• Perform filtration of liquids and preparation of bulk products.
• Ensure traceability guidelines are followed in all procedures.
• Adhere to forklift and pallet truck procedures (training provided).
• Collaborate with laboratory team to bring samples for testing.
• Maintain a clean, audit-ready blending area at all times.
• Be flexible to undertake additional duties as needed.
