Job summary

West Cork Distillers in Skibbereen, Ireland, is seeking Distillery Operations Technicians to join our team. Full training will be provided; prior food production or mechanical roles are advantageous. The shift pattern is four-on, four-off with 6am–6pm or 6pm–6am rotations.

Qualifications

• Leaving certificate or equivalent is required.
• Fluent English must be understood for safety policies.
• Experience in a production environment, ideally food or beverage.
• Experience with production machinery and systems is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Prepare mash and distill the 1st Spirit, operate equipment and machinery.
• Monitor distillery output using specified technology and evaluate distillate quality.
• Maintain records and ensure audit-ready housekeeping and hygiene.
• Assist maintenance in equipment prep and troubleshooting, handover at shifts.
