Job summary

Uisce Éireann Irish Water seeks a Water Network Maintenance & Repair Team Lead to oversee planned and reactive maintenance across the water network, ensuring safe delivery of services within a defined geographic area.

Reporting to the Water Network Operations Manager, you will lead a team of network operatives, drive improvements, manage budgets, coordinate contractors, and uphold health and safety, QA, and compliance.

Qualifications

• Secondary education or equivalent work experience.
• Minimum 3 years direct relevant experience in water network & maintenance repair.
• FETAC/QQI Level 5-6 certificate or equivalent is desirable.
• Strong leadership and coaching abilities.
• Effective communication with stakeholders.
• Proficiency with spreadsheets/databases.
• Valid Irish driving licence is essential.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team of network operatives across water infrastructure.
• Develop schedules, SOPs and ensure health, safety and data reporting.
• Manage maintenance/repair of assets and coordinate contractors.
• Monitor KPIs, budgets and operational costs.
• Engage with stakeholders and support incident response.
• Oversee training, compliance and safety documentation.
