Job summary

Irish Water is seeking a Water Network Maintenance & Repair Senior Operative to manage planned and reactive maintenance across the water and wastewater network in County Cork. This role involves supervising teams, responding to emergencies, and ensuring adherence to health and safety standards.

Ideal candidates will have two years of relevant experience and a full driving licence. You will also play a key role in delivering consistent customer service and managing complex operational tasks.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years relevant experience in a similar role.
• Full, clean, class B driving licence (additional categories an advantage).
• Experience supervising or managing teams in a health and safety culture.

Responsibilities

• Supervise planned and reactive maintenance and repair activities.
• Ensure prompt response to alarms and provision of emergency cover.
• Liaise with Metering Services for non-domestic water meters.
