Job summary

Centra Kilcolgan is seeking a Weekend Manager to ensure the store runs smoothly and delivers outstanding customer service and fresh food offerings across weekend trading.

You’ll drive sales and profitability through people and operations management, set standards for merchandising and KPI delivery, and lead the team in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year experience in a customer service facing role.
• Excellent communication skills with customers and colleagues.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office including Excel and Word.
• Experience balancing cash tills and cash handling procedures.
• Highly driven with a strong work ethic and targets focus.
• Understanding of KPIs and how to achieve them.
• Commercial mindset with brand awareness in retail.

Responsibilities

• Actively live Centra brand values and lead by example to encourage teamwork.
• Liaise with weekday management on layout changes and ensure proper implementation.
• Set standards for rotation, merchandising and facing off.
• Assist in induction, training and development of employees.
• Deal with customer queries efficiently and per store policy.
• Engage with new initiatives and adopt new ways of working.

Main purpose of the role

Ensure the store operates efficiently and effectively and provide our customers with the very best customer service and fresh food offering at all times in a clean, safe environment during the weekends. To deliver on key store targets (sales and profitability) through effective management of people and operations.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have/be

• Minimum 1 years€,, experience in a customer service facing role
• Excellent communication skills
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word)

• An understanding of how to achieve KPIs and targets
