Job summary

Midlands Park Hotel is seeking a Wedding & Events Sales Executive to drive revenue across weddings, conferences, banquets and special events in the Midlands region. You will handle enquiries, showcase facilities, and secure bookings while delivering outstanding customer service throughout the client journey.

Qualifications

• Experience in sales, hospitality, weddings, events, or customer service.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organisational and time-management abilities.
• Proven ability to build relationships and convert sales opportunities.
• High level of attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Ability to work flexibly, including evenings and weekends when required.

Responsibilities

• Manage wedding and event enquiries in a professional and timely manner.
• Convert enquiries into bookings through proactive sales techniques and follow-up.
• Achieve and exceed monthly and annual sales targets.
• Conduct site inspections and showcase the hotel's facilities to prospective clients.
• Develop and maintain relationships with wedding planners, event organisers, local businesses, and community groups.
• Identify new business opportunities to increase wedding and event revenue.
• Attend wedding fairs and promotional activities as required.
• Meet with couples and clients to understand requirements and prepare proposals and contracts.
• Coordinate with operational departments to ensure seamless event delivery.
• Maintain regular communication with clients throughout planning stages.
• Ensure all event details are recorded and communicated to relevant departments.
