Job summary

Rabelo Cafe Bar & Venue at Carlingford Marina on the water is seeking an Experienced Bartender to join our team. You will craft beverages—from premium coffees to wines and classic spirits—while delivering friendly, confident service during busy periods.

The position is permanent part-time with an excellent tips package and staff food provided. Evening and weekend availability is essential, and at least 2 years of independent bartending experience is required.

Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of independent bartending experience in a busy bar, restaurant, or hotel environment.
Excellent communication, a sharp eye for presentation, and the ability to work quickly and cleanly under pressure.
Evening and weekend availability is essential. Immediate start is essential.
Age to serve alcohol must be legal.
Reliable transport or local familiarity is preferred due to location.

Responsibilities

Preparing and serving a wide range of beverages to a high standard.
Engaging with customers, taking orders, and providing recommendations.
Maintaining cleanliness and organization behind the bar, restocking, clearing glassware, and maintaining beer lines/coffee machines.
Handling transactions, cash management, and operating the POS system.
Ensuring compliance with responsible service of alcohol regulations.
