Job summary

Bausch + Lomb in Waterford is seeking a Site Planning Manager to lead the planning activities for the Waterford contact lens manufacturing campus. You will manage the site S&OP process, coordinate capacity utilization, and schedule production to meet service targets.

You will work with Operations, Purchasing and distribution teams to balance demand and supply, monitor inventory, and drive improvements in planning accuracy while maintaining customer service levels.

Qualifications

• 5–8 years of experience in planning or supply chain management, with at least 3 years in a managerial role.
• Graduate or equivalent professional qualification e.g. APICS Certification.
• Experience with site S&OP, RCCP tools & MPS.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities; advanced Excel, Power BI/Tableau experience a plus.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills; ability to work independently and in a team.
• Experience in the healthcare or pharmaceutical industry.

Responsibilities

• Manage local planning team.
• Maintain and enhance the site S&OP process; share accurate supply information with stakeholders.
• Monitor DC SKU inventory against targets; ensure scheduling balances customer needs with production utilization.
• Maintain target inventory levels and minimize excess and obsolescence.
• Focus on customer satisfaction through order-fill rates, backorder, and replenishment metrics.
• Collaborate with Site Ops, Freight, warehousing and distribution on planning parameters and lane setups.
• Liaise with Purchasing on raw materials demand and supply; forecast lot profiles for Operations and Cartoning.
• Lead projects to improve production planning and manufacturing efficiency while maintaining customer service.
• Drive system improvements related to planning processes.
