Job summary

AtkinsRéalis in Ireland is seeking a Civil Design Engineer to join the Water team within the Infrastructure Division. You will contribute to the design and delivery of water and wastewater projects for Uisce Éireann and clients, working across feasibility, optioneering, detailed design, procurement and construction.

Qualifications

• A degree in civil engineering or a closely related discipline.
• Post-graduate experience in water or wastewater infrastructure preferred.
• Experience preparing civil designs and technical documentation.
• Knowledge of NEC, FIDIC, Public Works Contracts and Uisce Éireann contract documents.
• Strong communication, collaboration and time-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Support design and delivery across feasibility to construction stages.
• Prepare designs, calculations, drawings, specs, and contract documents.
• Coordinate inputs with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders.
• Participate in site visits, design reviews, and construction-stage activities.
• Apply health & safety, sustainability, quality requirements throughout design.
