Job summary

Irish Water is seeking a Water Treatment Operator responsible for the operation and maintenance of treatment processes across assigned plants in County Cork. You will ensure compliance with quality standards while conducting routine maintenance activities and responding to alerts.

Additionally, your role will involve conducting inspections, supporting customer service operations, and adhering to health and safety regulations.

Qualifications

• Full clean Irish category B driving licence is a minimum requirement.
• Certification in Water/Wastewater Treatment Plant Operations preferred.
• Experience in Water Industry and/or Utilities preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support the operation of water and wastewater treatment processes.
• Conduct asset checks and inspections for early identification of problems.
• Perform duties under the Safety, Health and Welfare at Work Act.
