Job summary

EPS Group is looking for Water Treatment Plant Operators to join their Dundalk and Drogheda wastewater treatment teams in County Louth. The role involves operating and maintaining water treatment processes, monitoring plant performance, and contributing to routine tasks and site upkeep.

Candidates should have experience in water treatment or similar processes, a mechanical/electrical background is beneficial, and a full driving licence is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in the operation and maintenance of water treatment plants (or similar)
• Experience operating mechanical and electrical plant and machinery
• Full clean driving licence required
• Must be local to the area and able to access site as needed

Responsibilities

• Carry out routine operational duties and regular maintenance tasks.
• Monitor processes and perform some daily laboratory analyses.
• Complete record sheets and collect process samples.
• Perform general housekeeping and site cleaning.
• Operate and oversee plant equipment with basic maintenance and repairs as needed.
• Work on a stand-by and call-out rota and may work weekends/bank holidays.
