Job summary

A national water utility in Ireland is looking for a Water Treatment Operator to oversee an assigned treatment plant. Responsibilities include ensuring safe water production, implementing operational procedures, and performing routine maintenance. The role requires a minimum of secondary education, a valid Irish driving license, and experience in the water industry is preferred. Candidates will receive training, and the starting salary is set at €36,640.

Qualifications

• Full, clean and valid Irish category B driving licence is minimum requirement.
• Experience working within Water Industry and/or other Utilities preferred.
• Good basic knowledge of water and wastewater systems and practices is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Support the operation of water treatment processes and carry out maintenance activities.
• Monitor changes in Raw Water Quality and conduct routine Jar Tests.
• Check and monitor all necessary quality parameters during water treatment.
