Job summary

Veolia Water Technologies Ireland is seeking a Field Service Engineer to provide on-site service for laboratory and healthcare equipment. You’ll perform commissioning, fault-finding, maintenance, calibration and validation while upholding safety and quality.

The role includes travel and occasional overtime. The ideal candidate has 2–3 years in a similar field service role, with excellent communication skills and a track record of writing clear service reports.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of experience in a similar field service role.
• Excellent communication skills with both technical and non-technical customers.
• Experience or willingness to writing reports.
• Awareness of health and safety on client sites.
• Pharmaceutical industry experience is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Provide a complete level of service on site including commissioning, fault-finding, servicing, maintaining, repairing, calibrating and validating equipment.
• Ensure all equipment and products are left in a safe condition for customers.
• Deliver service excellence and maintain customer satisfaction.
• Maintain records and paperwork for installations and service reports.
• Adhere to safety regulations, ISO quality procedures and site rules.
• Carry stock in the company vehicle and manage spares.
• Identify revenue opportunities on site and communicate feedback to the service team.
• Provide telephone support and participate in on-call when required.
• Attend training courses to gain knowledge of equipment.
• Represent the company professionally on site and wear branded PPE.
