Job summary

Veolia Water Technologies Ireland is seeking a Field Service Engineer to provide on-site service across laboratory and healthcare equipment, including commissioning, fault-finding, and maintenance.

The role requires 2–3 years in a similar role, excellent communication, safety awareness, and willingness to travel occasionally. Electrical qualification is desirable; you will join a global environmental pioneer with strong health, safety and career development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication with technical and non-technical customers.
• Experience or willingness to writing reports.
• Awareness of potential health and safety risks on client properties.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site service: commissioning, fault-finding, servicing, maintenance, repair, calibration, and validation of laboratory & healthcare equipment.
• Ensure equipment is left safe for customers.
• Deliver service excellence and customer satisfaction.
• Maintain records and paperwork; create service reports for signature.
• Adhere to safety regulations and ISO procedures; follow Work Instructions and Method Statements with risk assessments.
• Participate in site inductions and follow site rules.
• Carry and manage stock of spare parts in company vehicle.
• Identify on-site revenue opportunities and inform the team of new developments.
• Provide telephone support and participate in on-call rota as required.
• Attend training courses to gain knowledge of equipment and applications.
• Represent the company professionally on site; wear branded clothing and PPE.
• Occasional overseas travel.
