Murphy is seeking a Water Process Design Engineer to support its Water & Wastewater portfolio in Ireland. You will contribute to design from concept through to commissioning, collaborating with MEICA, digital teams and clients to ensure robust, compliant solutions.

The role offers growth in a multidisciplinary environment with opportunities to lead design discussions and manage scope and deliverables. The ideal candidate holds a Level 8 honours degree in a relevant discipline and 2–3 years’

Qualifications

• Minimum Level 8 Honours Degree in Chemical, Water/Wastewater, Environmental or Process Engineering or related discipline.
• 2–3 years’ relevant experience in water, wastewater or process engineering sectors.
• Strong process and hydraulic engineering capability, including design, calculations and equipment selection.

Responsibilities

• Deliver water and wastewater infrastructure design from concept to construction and commissioning.
• Develop robust design solutions meeting client requirements and standards.
• Collaborate with MEICA, Digital team and planners to maintain technical alignment.
• Lead design reviews, ALMs, and constructability workshops and address actions.
